Visits by families resume at every establishment from Saturday 12 September 2026.

Education Programmes to Begin in Every Establishment on 14 September 2026Classes in literacy, numeracy, secondary certificates and digital skills begin at all five establishments on Monday 14 September 2026. Every person in custody will be assessed within ten working days of reception and offered a place.

Workshop and Horticulture Placements Confirmed From 21 September 2026Workshops in joinery, textiles, laundry and print, and horticulture units at Westbrook and Northgate, open for placements on Monday 21 September 2026, offering 640 places each week.
